Dos Rios was the brainchild of Hugo Barwick, a Latin American resident for over 20 years. Born in the UK and a Cambridge University graduate, he has spent that time working, living and investing in South America with his wife Jane, a former multinational executive. Over the last 15 years Hugo and Jane have lived in Buenos Aires, dividing their time between the city and their lovely house on Dos Rios.

Hugo had the vision to see the possibilities that the Parana Delta could offer. At a time when Argentina was going through its worst crises in its history, he purchased 73 hectares of land on the Delta. His plan was to offer 32 plots of land for sale of over one hectare (2.5 acres) each with at least 75 meters of river frontage. In addition, Hugo wanted to make available over 36 hectares for plot owners to enjoy as a private nature reserve, surrounded by paths and with a swimming pool and deck area where owners and their guests could meet.

The large plots are perfect to build a spacious house and offer complete privacy when in residence in this wonderfully peaceful location.

After a number of years of planning, development, and working with the local Municipality of Tigre (who have recognized and praised the project’s strong environmental focus), Hugo’s plan has successfully come to fruition and many plots have already been sold.
